Anyone else getting requests for 3 day TAT from Arvest? Only one branch is doing me that way. I've had enough. I am going to fire them.

No. My assignments from Arvest don't reflect a TAT.

Basically I work for 3 of them. Two are totally easy to work with. The one that used to be my # 2 customer has become a PITA on TAT.

Local loan officier told me see has never met a single one of the appraisers who are now working her local area. Talhaquah, Tulsa, Ft Smith, she had not a clue who these folks are and doesn't really like what she sees.

As far as I know, I am the only "Fort Smith" appraiser that also covers "NWA". I can do so because 1) I grew up in NWA and I know the market, 2) I have lived in Fort Smith for 21 years, 3) I maintain offices in both places and have for now over 5 years. Shoot, I spend so much time in NWA anymore that I am probably best described as a "NWA" appraiser who also covers "Fort Smith".

Nobody else that I know of can say that.

It seems strange that the 2 closest appraisers to this office isn't using either one of them. I've done one for secondary market since the first of the year. The inhouse stopped in May and got possibly 2 since only if I took them immediately.

The last thing I did for them took me about three weeks...LOL...never heard a word. Perhaps that is why haven't seen anything from them since then......HA

    Hmmm.

1+ hour away, and still geographically competent? I'm not saying that your not, but you'll have trouble convincing me of that. A lot has changed since you grew up here. I wouldn't even attempt to go to Ft Smith or outside of my two county area. Even though I own land in Newton County, I'm not competent in that area.

I live in Downtown Fay, my office is here, and I try to stay right here because you can only be an expect in so many areas. I have plenty of work in my own backyard, so It's hard for me to grasp appraisers form other areas appraising here. It's not all cookie cutter here, and I've seen lots of Ft Smith & Missouri appraisers lacking competency in this market complete appraisals that are worthless. Probably much like any appraisal I would complete outside of my area.

I understand, go where the work is at, but....

No hard feelings, just what I've seen.
