7% of Washington residents are Trying to Move Out

More and more people choose to live in low and no tax states for 'six months and a day.' I saw Art Laffer, of the famous Laffer Curve, who lives is TN, and a business show host was saying it was too bad he had to move from CA, and his response was, "I still enjoy living in CA, just not for more than six months and a day."

Blue states are silly.

Turns out there is a statistic study on Blue states:

Blue states have bled $2 trillion in wealth to red states in the last decade — and New York leads the pack
It’s being called the biggest wealth transfer in history.

Nearly $2 trillion in economic growth has left blue states and headed for red states in the last decade, according to economic data from the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, a conservative economic group.

.........................
“So, as blue states lose taxpayers, what is their strategy? As many as 10 blue states are contemplating raising their income or wealth taxes,” the statement continued.

“It reminds us of the comedy routine of the Three Stooges on a rickety boat that is taking on water so they drill a hole in the bottom to get the water out.”

Seattle from rooftop of Puget Sound VA hospital.

Been here for almost 3 weeks now and I'm looking forward to going home to Southern California.

The nature here and scenery is pretty phenomenal. If you're an outdoorsy, woods and nature type person..... lots of that here to be had. Lots of tattoos, dryed hair, and druggie types. The freeway system is woefully antiquated....1 fender bender or stalled car causes havoc on the roads. The slow driving drives me insane being from L.A. and I'm pretty mellow.

It's more expensive here than Southern California food wise. I understand they just enacted a state tax where they used to have none and it seemed to be a shady deal that the locals are not too happy about.

When I pass homes for sale, even on weekends, there's nobody looking at them. Affordability here seems to be a concern just as with any other place.

Yep--take away the 9 months of chilly daily rain and the 3 million people (guessing) and NW Washington would be great! 3 national parks? Glaciers, rain forests, islands galore, Gatlinburg of the NW, close to deserts, etc? Borders Vancouver? Let's go!
