a la mode's latest update to Aurora has a beta version of their Gen. Purpose residential summary report form. It is printable as a PDF.

I like the form. It is signficantly superior to AI's non-lender residential forms. And, from what I can remember of the ACI GP form, a la mode's is superior.

    Co-appraiser?

Do you ever have a co-appraiser? What does it mean and why do they sign on the RHS?

    Mike,

I have never had a co-appraiser. It is very conceivable, though. By the way, what does "RHS" stand for?

    Michael,

Many companies have the president or senior appraiser sign the right hand side as co-appraiser. It's a way of saying the company is responsible for and supports the work of the appraiser, even though the appraiser may be state certified. Also, two appraisers may have contributed to the report. I recently had that situation with a higher value "unique" property where I was thankful for an extra set of eyes and another brain!

    GP Form

I reviewed the current version of the new GP form and all in all I like it. I especially like the "Attachments" section, with the check boxes and additional data input areas. It should make it more difficult for some lenders that have a tendency to not read the attachements, comments, etc.

Hope that they make this form available for Athena users also, as I am still not using Aurora.

Very good form, I'm going to be using this for most non-lender single family work.
