Arvest Mortgage will now select appraisers from rotation using the list that each local loan originator uses. The person doing the selecting is not an Underwriter, nor has either lender or appraisal experience...that would be too easy.

BTW, has anyone been getting "strange" engagement letters from Arv?....I have heard some complaints that the new engagement letters (5 pages or so) remind appraisers that if they provide false information that they will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law....that is kinda insulting for some of us who have had them as clients since say, 1992...I mean did we get stupid?
