I am a Registered Appraiser looking to take my Certified General exam within a month or so. I did about 1200 hours of residential appraising and realized it was not something I wanted to do. I have exceeded the requried commercial experience and education hours (AI) that the state board requires for licensing. I have worked with a commerical CG / MAI for the last year and a half.

I would like to get some prep time in before I take the exam, but am having difficulty in finding online classes that are specific to the Promissor Level C exam.

Has anyone seen or taken any classes similar to what I am looking for? I am loocated in Denver CO and would consider taking a classroom exam if that is the only / best option.

    Thanks -

I took the exam in the early '90's and it may have changed a bit. It would be good if someone would post their experience for you that took it recently.

Assuming it hasn't changed, if you were able to plow through 2000?? hours of supervised assignments, have taken coursework similar to the AI Cap series, it should be a snap for you.
I don't think you really will need a review. If I'm wrong, you can take it again!

You better wait for some feedback from someone that has taken the test in the last couple years ;)

It was more difficult than the FHA test
