I recieved a request to change a loan number on a file I completed 3 months ago. The AMC sent the request over on an new order form, new scope of work, and new order #. They do not expect a new effective date but this feels like a second appraisal for the same fee. Am I reading too much into this?

I don't think this is a big deal. Just make sure you add comments saying that the report has been revised at the request of the client to change the loan number...and change the signature date.

You know their game... billed the old client $550. New lender client comes along, rather than ordering a new report they ask for a FREE one from you...and the AMC will bill that client $550.
