I'm sure that most of you in Oregon reading this will receive an e mail from Bob outlining AMC regulation proposed for the 2010 special legislative session. Time to get involved is now, all can help by contacting their representatives ASAP. For any who don't get the email and would like I can forward it privately. I didn't feel comfortable posting it as it has many other's e mail addresses, as well as a copy of a newspaper article.

    Tom,

We are getting a core group together in Southern Oregon, so that we are organized and knowledgeable about how to tackle this legislation.

Having a core group in each county may be more successful than trying on your own. Just a suggestion.

If you would like after we meet between Christmas and New Years, we can forward onto you what our plans are!

Thanks, I believe this is the time for us appraisers to get involved.

I know Diane Forsberg in Albany is trying to get things organized up north.

Tom, it may be worth your while to chat with her.

Don't forget to put back the right for appraisers to go after the mortgage brokers bond if they do not pay the appraisal fee in 30 days! Make these little p!ssant AMCs put up a bond also.
