Neat site, Nancy! Thanks for the link.

Wonder if the remaining side of the mountain will blow. Sure looks like the shakin' is leaning in that direction.

Dead reporters will have a better chance of survival, but the coverage might be a little slow ......... (sorry ... it was just THERE! )

Oh she's gonna BLOW!!! Runnnnn... run away!!

I lived in Seattle for three years. My Mom was back here in NH at the time. She was PARANOID that Rainier or Helen would wipe us all out. She sent me masks and survival kits. Yes mom was a strange one...bless her soul.

WHEN Rainier goes it will be devastating!!! But that could be in what a bazillion years. Who knows.

I will be following this story. Very interesting.

You know, in Spokane people still have soot in their gardens from the first blow. ;)

It was a pretty Sunday morning. I was sitting in the old Jeep at the corner of Mineral Point and Roche Harbor Roads. The blast rattled the side curtains in the Jeep and I remember thinking "What in the world is someone doing blasting rock on a Sunday morning?!" Didn't know until my sister in Spokane called.
    No ash up here.......

It was a pretty Sunday morning. I was sitting in the old living room. The blast rattled the curtains in the living room and I remember thinking "What in the world is someone doing blasting rock on a Sunday morning?!" Didn't know until my wife called from the other room. "We're out of paper!!"

No ash up here....... either ......

    ROFL !
