Been quiet in the Illinois Forum for a while so I thought I would post a few photos for your amusement. "Homemade" elevator I came across during an FHA assignment over the weekend. Why me?

:rof::rof: OMG, that is hilarious! How many stories I must ask? I love that they use the original interior door and drywall on the interior cage. It just looks like a moving closet!:rof::rof:

Were there Squirrels or Chipmunks at the bottom running in Circles to power it or did it work like an old fashioned "dumb waiter?"

Makes me wish I had a 2 story trailer, so I would need an elevator.

Wait a couple of months. Put a fake solar panel on the roof and say it is a green staircase. Then the Government will give you a tax credit and perhaps a subsidy. You may even get a break on your utilities.
