Anyone recently sent in the application to HUD? I sent mine in a bit over a week ago and I don't show up on the list. I have one person asking me today if I was approved yet.

Seems like a freind of mine got on the list within a week.

Wish I could help you on that. It's been toooo long and the only thing I remember is that they first put me on in Greensboro (is that North or South Caroline?) and I had a terrible time getting that straightened out. I was tied with one other Florida appraiser for the first in the state to take and pass their new test.

    Jeff,

I took a local phone survey for you (six people.....Nielsen I ain't!) and the average has been about three weeks. Quickest was ten days, longest was........you don't wanna know!

    Good luck.

Might be better than the month or two it took me to be placed on the Jacksonville area roster instead of in some other state! That was when all the lenders wanted the FHA approval letter and letter said where you were approve for!!!

    It's OK Jeff..... ( )

    Jeff ~

You have one advantage -- that of knowing that you sent it to the right place! Duh.
