    Anybody know what's going on with the IVPI, you know the
    Independent Valuation Protection Institute. I've been gathering
    names of MBs who start the conversation with, "Do you do
    comp checks?" and I wanted their email so I could send them
    the list.

    No announcements as of yet.

    1. What is the status of the IVPI?
    [FONT=Arial,Arial][FONT=Arial,Arial]
    The structure of the IVPI has not yet been determined and the IVPI has not yet been established. Therefore, the provisions in the Code regarding the IVPI are not yet effective.

    I doubt if the IVPI will ever be instituted as FNMA is suppose to fund this at a cost of @$500,000 which they say they do not have. So all I can say to you good folks is "Good Luck"

    Some big hitters are working in the background. If I said it once I've said it a million times; The IVPI is the prize in this whole mess.

    The same appraisers who are crying over the HVCC and jumping up and down, may shoot themselves when the prize is awarded.
