    Is The Hvcc And The Home Valuation Protection Program & Cooperation Agreement The Same Thing?

    If Not Were Can I Find The Most Up To Date Home Valuation Protection Program & Cooperation Agreement.

    Um, nope. They are not the same thing. HVCC is the Home Valuation Code of Conduct, hence its intitals being different.

    I suggest going to Google and searching for both - tons of links will pop up. The HVPPCA was basically the agreement that was drawn up to stop Coumo from starting his investigation in the GSEs and laid the ground work for HVCC and IVPI.

    And I wouldn't worry any longer about the HVPPCA, it is moot, it is what it is, as they say. The HVCC is the current big ticket issue, and will directly affect any residential appraiser in the country that does appraisals that will end up with Fannie or Freddie - the HVPPCA caused the HVCC, and the HVCC is what we're going to have to deal with.
