    the horse is stolen.

"On January 15, 2009, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced that Freddie Mac would be required to capture new loan-level origination data for mortgages with application dates on or after January 1, 2010. Freddie Mac, with FHFA's approval, has changed the effective date for this requirement to apply to mortgages with application dates on or after July 1, 2010.
With this change to the effective date, Freddie Mac is now required to collect the following unique identifiers for mortgages with application dates on or after
    July 1, 2010:

    • Loan originator identifier
    • Loan origination company identifier
    • Appraiser's state license number
    • Supervisory appraiser's state license number, if applicable
As a result of extending the effective date to July 1, 2010, you will have additional time to prepare for business process and system changes you may need to make to begin capturing and delivering this loan-level origination data for mortgages you sell to Freddie Mac."
