    The BEST CE of the year is always the ICAP summer seminars!

    ICAP announces the 2011 seminar (7-hr CE) schedule and on-line registration!

    This year there are 3 seminars:

    Springfield--July 19th AND Lisle--August 1 (features a morning & mid-day 'vendor showcase').

    Springfield is held at the Crown Plaza Hotel; Lisle is held at the Wyndham Hotel.

    Brian Weaver, Appraisal Coordinator, IDFPR, will discuss IL compliance updates;

    Jed Smith, Managing Director of Quantitative Research for NAFR, will discuss current economic and market conditions (Lisle seminar only);

    Wayne Pugh, 2008 President of the Appraisal Institute and Valuation Magazine's 'Cool Tools' columnist, will discuss technology for appraisers;

    Charlie Franklin, a defense attorney who specializes in real estate disciplinary and litigation matters, will give a presentation on limiting appraisers' liability.

    And, the 3rd seminar:

    Godfrey (Lewis & Clark Community College)--August 12:

    The Seminar was terrific. :clapping:
    Brian needs to have the entire afternoon as speaker next year, just way to much info to fit in 2 hr segment.:clapping:

    Was pleasantly surprised to learn IL AMC law has a requirement for AMCs to pay C&R fees ( the only State in the nation) with the State ( Appraisal Board I believe) to complete a survey of appraisers of what C&R fees are.
