Every once in a while, a duplicate file shows up in the file cabinet. There will be two files shown in the file cabinet. Moving one makes the other go to the same new folder.
I see the same thing occasionally when searching for a photo.
A word of caution. Don't delete the duplicate! In the case of the photo, I decided in the interest of saving space to delete the photo that appeared to have never been used. Both photos disappeared. I can find no way to recover the deleted photo. It's not in the unused photos, not in the trash can, not in the comps database.
I think that if you had the same problem with a file, it would be easy to recover, but I am not tempted to try.
Any ideas how to recover the missing photo and save me a day long drive to get another photo?
