Doesn't appear to be serious. The local radio news station is playing Sean Hannity. Nothing about the volcano. The 2 blasts in 1980 really made a mess, here, in Spokane. Doesn't look like that will happen this time around. I like that.

    Patti,
They think there's more to come, but not anything as big as in 1980.

Since you are so into the things that Ma Nature delivers, how about coming up here and shovelling the snow off my driveway. :D

Mom Nature sure is trying to alter the landscape lately...first turn Florida back into beach front and swamp instead of landfilled home sites, by hitting every county in the state with hurricanes. Then shaking up California with earthquakes. Flooding the Mid Atlantic and Northeast. Early snows in the west. And now Mt St. Helens. Wonder what's next??

    HAHAHAHAH Dee Dee,

I never said ANYTHING about Manual Labor issues in Cleaning Up after Mom Nature! :rainfro: :rainfro:

Liking and doing are 2 entirely different things.... :rainfro:

I have a Mom Nature Phobia after being yanked out of a Mudslide up to my chest by a D-9 while on a construction crew clearing a new ski run at Suckstone!(Keystone)

Ahhh yes, Keystone. Good 'ol Schoolmarm run, where I first learned that snowplowing is best done with skis and not with face.

    Chris,
Dunno, but I'll bet it's gonna be a doozie, whatever it is. Tsunami?

My wife's cousin & her husband flew in to Seattle today from Cali. They arrive @ 1:00, and flew over St. Helens as she was throwing up steam, rock & debris.

They called as soon as they landed...they were very, very, very excited...what are the odds?

We told em...unless we can whip up a tidal wave or tornado...your vacation is going to be anticlimactic from here on out! :p

We've 5 valcanoes in WA State...I've been to 4 of em...flew over Kilauea in a helicopter in '01'-- beautiful everyone.
