    It seems that alot of appraisers are taking time off this summer

    Could it be that we are not making that much money anyway, so
    taking time off, does not hurt so bad

    Also, it fun to say no to AMC's because I'm on vacation!!!

    If I did that they would have to be on suicide watch..... The only assignments I am offered lately are the incredibly impossible, that have been turned down by every hardworking staff appraiser...:peace:

    I've been an appraiser for 10 years. I have only taken one break, and it was for 3 months as I went across country on a road trip. Other than that I haven't taken one vacation.

    Probably not voluntarily. I havn't averaged more than 30 hours worth or work per week in about 5 years. I guess you could say I take a 3+ month vacation every year.
