I'm sure Sandy feels the same. Juan too, probably. Why then all the bit ching about the price of gas? (Not from you, but from the others?)

And do you suppose he lost that majority in the house because he governed as the public expected? or because he didn't govern so?

PS. Once again, I find no small irony in the fact that it's been my son who's provided this fop with his most outstanding tangible achievement.

Typical mid-term election outcome. Read your own agenda into it if you wish.

So how about a discussion of what the foreigner president just announces-cut oil subsidies?
By "subsidies" you mean tax deductions and depletion allowances?

Fine, let's discuss it. Do you think this will lower gas prices or raise them?

Only the socialist left believes that taking less in taxes from its citizens is a "subsidy".

How's that for no guvnmnt intrusion into our lives. But I get it-it's ok because its state rights not the feds. No guvnmnt intrusion unless it involves shoving the right wing religious beliefs up any orface.

I will let you and Terrell tell me what the effect will be-I'll stick with let the free market system work. Get the guvnmnt out of subsidizing the oil industry. What more could you right wingers want?

Again, WTF are you talking about? Who here, besides you, has raised this question?

Nobody!

What special subsidies specific to the industry does the oil industry get?

Why are we not building nuclear plants?

Why can we not drill in preparation of future demand when we know that demand for oil will increase by 20% in the next 15 years?

Why are we going to close more coal plants?

Eight government subsidized wind or solar firms have gone bankrupt costing the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars, when does the government realize that these industries are in their infancies and are not economically feasible at this time?

The administration's policies will not and are not working and will kill the almost dead economy.

Default Mexico and its Plans to Manufacturing Biofuels

Mexican Company is planning on starting to produce a biofuel product and exporting to the Southwest United States. Biggest problem is competition from oil. http://www.tierramerica.info/nota.ph...ng&idnews=3252
