Thumbs up Updated Guideline Link from Freddie Mac

I was honored with being contacted to test a link and view the Freddie Mac Guidelines this evening. The above link should help all of you with the updated and complete set of guidelines. Chapter 44 is for appraisals.

Read it - especially you "newbies". I'm sure many of your questions will be answered before you post them here.

Looks like the same hard to navigate format that Fannie Mae uses. I'd pay real money for a continuing ed course on Fannie/Freddie guidelines with copies of the regs handed out. Darn Fannie/Freddie wants you to buy the whole guide just to get the appraisal part.

1.) At least Freddie came out with some written directives.............wonder where Fannie's is at today!
2.) Why not just print that section to a pdf for yourself? (Hope she's not reading after me).

Sorry to upset you over a suggestion that might have been helpful - I put both fannie and freddie on ONE cd and still have room for Websters, national geographic and maybe an "adult" entertainment. (Maybe but I doubt it )
