Wooo Hoooooo!!!!

Now go out and do some complex assignments.

I found getting certified to be a double-edged sword. On the one hand I felt more confident and less worried about the properties I was appraising and on the other hand I felt I had more responsibility which tends to make my job take longer.

Thanks everyone!!!

Patrick,

Here is what I did....first I used www.learnappraising.com and I figured out
what my strengths and weaknesses were. Pretty much all weakness in the beginning LOL.

I got out my appraisal class book and reread just about the entire book. I made flash cards of definitions and formulas, etc. Things I wanted to remember.

When I called for my appointment I gave myself a month. In that month I took my book with me everywhere and I went over it and worked the exercises. I paid close and extra attention to the cost approach and all of the math since that is were I was weakest.

Don't forget USPAP it is on the test. During the last month I spent a lot of time with learnappraising.com and took practice tests over and over until I brought up my percentages. It still showed I was in the high weak area overall on the simulated exam but I was scoring about 84 - 88 consistantly.

OH, I also used the 1000 questions and answers book.

As you can see (and this was probably more than you wanted to know) I really did study a lot. I was so freaked about the formulas and the math...and I find I'm "old" now LOL and don't remember the book stuff
like I used to.

At any rate, I passed -- and first time, too -- so I am pretty excited about it.

I think it was easier than I expected but some questions I had trouble with.

Anyway, thanks for asking.
