Default Man cuts house in half !

Seems a local guy, upset with his land contract deal, decided to cut the house in half. He took a reciprocating saw and marched around the house, cutting each stud in half. I hope the big bad wolf doesn't come along and blow the house down.

If you look around on the local news site, you can probably find the video of the story.

I hope they don't call me for the appraisal!

With the size of his truck, he could probably hook the top half up to the hitch and pull it straight off.

That house is about 8 miles from where I used to live so I know the area fairly well. The house (was) not a bad house.

There are still some people around here that do things on a handshake but here's a reason to get things in writing

I hope I do get the assignment. I'll keep you posted if I do. Maybe I'll drive past the house today and get a photo.

The local sheriff speculated ,if he had a written agreement ;

The day after the "surgery" both parties agreed to lean against both sides of the house.......so the SPLIT wudd barely be visible when the Drive-By Appraisal was done. 30 seconds after the "roadsider" drove off............they walk in opposite directions, flipped each other the bird, and the house collapsed.

........and the band played......on....and he got his refi loan..

I heard a similar story years ago. Divorce situation....So, he took a chain saw and cut it into two sections, one for him, one for her. I thought it was a joke. Still do.
