Neither of the links work for me.
Assume this is put on by Brad?

Here is the correct link.

I believe he is instructing.

Tom, Brad owns an appraisal school that teaches CE courses. Brad is a member of the board. The board determines which courses meet the requirements for CE credit and which do not.

Do you see an issue with that?

Doug,
I suppose there could be a conflict of interest if he is voting to approve his own classes. I would assume he would have to abstain. Don't Bob and Chuck also teach?
The last time I had a class with Brad was when he was working for another school, and prior to his recent position on the board.

Tom, don't assume anything.

Chuck was a compliance officer (and he's gone) - he was never involved in course evaluation.

Bob was involved with course evaluation and also taught some of the courses he evaluated. This conflict of interest was resolved by having board members evaluate the courses.

Now you have a board member who owns an appraisal CE teaching company and is involved in the evaluation of CE courses.

No problem?

I would see a problem if he doesn't recuse himself. Isn't there usually a rep from the DOJ at the meetings, this could be brought up.

Doug, are you accusing Brad of wrong doing? If not, why stir it up? If he's not doing something wrong then why imply wrong doing?
