Default Outrageous behavior from lenders and realtors

Prior going into the appriasal industry I worked a number of years as a realtor and then as a lender. I have never called an appraiser and acted the way as some of the "professionals" that contact our office. It's quite shocking. To contact an appraiser and demand values, direct adjustments, make threats, accuse them of not conforming to certain policies/procedures of the client and attempt to intimidate them was not an option. What the hell happened?

The too big to fail banks have us economic prisoners and can do what they want. Riding rough-shod over the appraiser is a symptom of this pervasive sickeness, we're in the way of them making quick bucks. Where's the IVPI?

Your profile indicates that you are in Guam. The ASC website indicates that there are a total of 20 appraisers in Guam. I pass by more appraisers than that on my way to the post office. If there were only 20 appraisers in my market we would see happy days!

What the hell happened? Greed and a few Billion Bucks in commissions for doing so while EVERY single Federal and State Regulator ........were on the golf course or yachting with the "elected thieves" in Congress and State Legislature, and their Lobby-Buds, while being paid off to ................"assume" nothing out of the ordinary was occurring and it was (and is) "Business as usual".

Not all profiles are accurate. But I do hear what you're saying.

It's been like that for the 20 years I've been in the business.

First I laugh at their tantrum.

Second I ask that they put their request in writing as I need it for the work file.

Third I tell them that all calls are recorded for quality assurance purposes.
