"Montero is among just 3 percent who say their appraisal income has increased since HVCC"'

"The number of orders has doubled since HVCC; more appraisals and more reviews."

"I think that you have to meet their expectations"

"Set realistic fees, wait and hope for the best"

Now I know what to do...

Follow the pocket watch with your eyes.

You are getting very sleepy. Your eyes are closing. When I snap my fingers, you will enjoy working with AMCs. You will accept any fee they offer. You will turn in reports the same day you receive the orders. You will cluck like a chicken when you think about leaving work early.

Now you are waking up. You are awake in 3, 2, (Snap)
So tell us how you feel about working with AMCs...

Montero appraises in Washington state. He has been appraising seven years and is Certified Residential. He is in his mid 30s and has no designations. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in economics. He is an FHA appraiser and also does non-lender work- mostly appraisal reviews for mortgage insurance companies. Before HVCC, about 40 percent of his practice was non-lender work but this has increased dramatically due to the high level of foreclosures.
The secret is that he appraises in Washington State. The appraisers banded together and would not settle for anything less than $400 per appraisal. It worked.

Because of that success, we now have R&C in the law. It is not BECAUSE of the AMC's that he is happy, it is IN SPITE of the AMC's that he is happy.

I would expect that comment from a Blue guy who most likely looks at life through rose colored classes. Hey what color is the sky in your world? I bet it's purple!

News flash from Manhattan-16% of mugging victims say they enjoyed the experiance and 3% said they made more money then before they were mugged.
