Very common in my market. Very few shorter than 20 pages. It's CYA on steroids.

Was it sent through a fax machine multiple times in order to make it very difficult to read? This used to be a common practice in Las Vegas.

Came through clear as a bell, and Don is right, it has every heretofore and there-to-with in the dictionary.

Local CO Realtors have occasional stories about 3 and 4 page contracts. They tell me everything else which consists of these super long contracts is basically lawyer generated content.

Minimum contracts here are 10 something pages if you're lucky.

FannieDirect contracts drive me crazy.

NC RE contracts are 8-9 pages without addenda. If its REO, the lender has their own contract, so add the NC required addenda and the lender contract and their addenda and its 30-40 pages easily.

Appraisal engagement letters outnumber purchase contracts per page!

(Considering the initial engagement and per order notes.)

"Houston, we have a problem."

I see a lot that are 19 or more pages but we still find the occasional 1 page one. What I really love are handwritten deeds that some gober made up on a Big Chief tablet to save money..99% of them are flawed badly.

Did someone really FAX a 47 page contract to your office ?? FAX ???

They couldn't scan it in, and email it ??

Those 47 pages have been FAX'd back & forth to 2 Attorney's Offices and 2 Realtor's Offices......probably a couple of separate times each for all the revisions.
