I've looked at Appraisers Forum "Find and Appraiser" for Fayetteveille, and got a lot of hits.

I may need an appraisal to settle my father's estate, and I'd like to get someone capable. The Forum links show either Residential (mortgage) specialists, or potential skippies offering "24-hour turn time". (Ha!)

Any of you folks know an appraiser in the Fayetteville area who can do a narrative summary for equitable division of assets? No court time. Intended users are me and my brother. Turn time not a factor. And who isn't afraid to appraise for another forum member?

Prop is 1-story 1500sf± SFR 3br 1.5 bath in old subdivision, built in 1958, w/ upgrades and additions. Small lot.

I'm not going to have time to develop geographic compentence.

Thanks, Doug,
I'd forgotten about DCJ, but he works in Raliegh, I think, about a 60-70 mile trip. But he may have a handle on the local folks. Hard to be objective right now, and I need a D3P I can trust.

Dad passed away last Monday in his sleep, while visiting my bro and his grandkids for Christmas. He'll be sorely missed, to say the least.

You and the rest of the forum members have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Tracy says Hi!
