Its that time of the year to compare. I had
about a 10% drop in income this year, not
too surprising since I counted 12 appraisers
subscribing to our MLS, up 6 from the
previous year. Brother-in-laws of MB's
apparently have to eat too.

Hope 2005 is a prosperous year for y'all!

I'm down 33% from 2003. But that's okay. I just went from crazy to merely busy. I went from working 6.5 days a week to 5.5. From an average of 40 appraisals a month down to 25.

YAY!

Yet I haven't taken a full week off work in 4 years. It's been 10 years since I had two weeks off.

Cheers, and I wish all a happy and prosperous New Year!

I am actually up since 2003. But then again in Aug of 2003 I started my company after getting out of a partnership. So really don't have a handle on what to do.

I am down some from 2003... but my company is down about 15% from 2003, and I am down proportionately. I guess it could be worse. Still better than 2002 by a long shot.

Also, it depends if we are talking individual incomes or company incomes.

Whose the smart ass that put down $250,000-$300,000? What's the matter? Did you only have time to read 1/2 of the E-Bay book on how to make $500,000 as an appraiser???

OK, so I didn't hit six figures this year, but I didn't do to badly for a tired old cripple that's trying to retire.

I will not have a clue until all the books are done. Are we talking gross income, company income, personal income.

Now that I gotten married I have a two dollar a week allowance. Get 50 cent extra if I do the dishes five nights a week.

I'm down 30% from last year, but my weight is down and I'm starting to exercise more.
