What happened to all the work? No orders, no refi, no foreclosures, no purchases,

I get the abnormal orders which I usually don't get during busy time.
I recently got an order in Oakland. No thank you.
 
How can the p.o.t.u.s. make a blanket statement about an entire industry being biased without any investigation?
Maybe from reading the MAGAs in AF.

after 20 years I have never seen it this slow
Here is what always seems to work for me: Start a home renovation project which will require you to be home to meet contractors, start looking up cabins at the beach or mountains for a spring break getaway, or set up your neglected doctor and dentist appointments.
 
I've not had a day off since the first. But I don't work mortgage work to any extent...and zero secondary market. I don't know why it is this busy. Too many people dying I suppose. Us baby boomers are keeling over faster.
 
The types of evaluations and/or appraisals completed this year:

Commercial Evaluation - purchase
Commercial Evaluation - refinance to purchase another commercial property
Private - divorce
Private - estate taxes
Private - listing price
Purchase
Refinance - complete new construction
Refinance - divorce
Refinance - purchase and remodel another property

The 2 days I went to class for CE was insane, had to work all weekend to make up for taking classes in person. It was completely dead the week before. So that's something to do too, lol.
 
No orders for three weeks. Good thing I have alternate income and my wife has a full time job.

I don't count the solicitation to "Complete a 1007 with interior inspection" on a property 60 miles away for $100 to be a legitimate order.
