What software company?

FYI - The 1004MC form does not go into effect until 04/01/2009. So for now, it is useless.

FYI - My appraisal software company lets me have unlimited updates for the maintenance contact or service agreement, which I assume is the same for you.

I use SFREP, but I'm not concerned. My plan is to simply create my own 1004MC and import it into the report as an addendum. I was surprised to see that notice, SFREP has been one of the few that hasn't gouged its users with constant sleight of hand upgrades like the big two vendors do.

I've always used SFREP. Why wouldn't you go for the annual
support contract? In this day and age, there are bound to be
new forms coming out of Fannie, et al, on a regular basis.

Its not SFREP's fault there are new form being spit out by lenders.
