With all the talk about state boards, and the federal organizations that regulate appraisers, this one is a natural!

Did you know you can have user groups with this new software? I see this as a means for groups to work together on some of the industry problems.

Food for thought.

Well a user group would be groups of members who share a common interest. They can be public or private or even hidden from view on the forum to non-registered members. For example, perhaps the appraisers from Texas wanted to start a group to discuss issues that just affected Texas and they only wanted to allow licensed Texas appraisers to view and read the postings of the group. Very easy to do!

From our FAQ:

What are Usergroups?

Usergroups are a way in which board administrators can group users. Each user can belong to several groups (this differs from most other boards) and each group can be assigned individual access rights. This makes it easy for administrators to set up several users as moderators of a forum, or to give them access to a private forum, etc.

At present there are no user groups, but the capabily is there if anyone needs it. It would be something that would need to be requested by a user and also there would need to be some interest in it from more than one user. A good way to find out if there is interest would be via our built in polling options.
