Is anyone familiar with a local board of Realtors that does NOT allow access to their MLS?

I was told by the Real Estate Board of NY (Manhattan) that they do not allolw appraisers accessto their MLS system?

Give em a check, never seen a a realator associarion refuse anyone with a check.

they probably have some form of associate membership

No Associates

The only category of membership is a Broker, period.

I rad on a privious thread that there was a FL lawsuit and the result was that you cannot be denied access, maybe you can find that case name, it is on here.

The only category of membership is a Broker, period.

Tell them you are going to contact the legal department of the National Association of Realtors, and that you intend to file a restraint of trade law suit. I would also contact the ASC at www.ASC.gov and ask for their help.

Your best bet though is to contact NAR.

Are you a member of NAR? That may be the issue, they require you to be a Realtor.
Costs a fortune outside of the basic MLS fees.

If you are a member of NAR they must let you join. You have been given several ways to contact NAR. Why not do that?
