ACI attracts buyer
Management team supportive of acquisition

Palm Coast, Florida, March 3, 2003—Appareo Software Inc.
(the "Company") announced that it has accepted an offer to purchase
100% of the tangible and intangible assets of Palm Coast Solutions,
Inc. (ACI), the Company's wholly owned subsidiary for an undisclosed
cash amount. The Offer has received approval in principle from the
Company's Investors who financed the acquisition of the assets of
Polaroid Digital Solutions, Inc. The acquirer is neither a
competitor nor a client of ACI. The Transaction is scheduled to
close on March 31, 2003.

"These are very exciting times for ACI. In the last year we have
relocated the company, revitalized the ACI name, and now we have
attracted a formidable strategic buyer," says Dave Roberts,
President of ACI. "And while we are encouraged by the recent events
surrounding the acquisition, in the best interest of all parties, it
is important that we limit the flow of information until a
definitive agreement is signed."

I am encouraged by your announcement, however "tommorow" has come and gone and their is no further news regarding ACI v 8.5. What is the status of its release? Like many long-time users, we are anxiously awaiting its release and are hopefull that it will remedy the numerous file and compatibility problems that affected the speed of the system on previous 8.x additions. In addition, we are hoping that it will work more smoothely with Windows 2000 and not create huge file sizes in the printing function. In other words, we are more than willing to wait a reasonable period for you to get the bugs out, but would still appreciate some measure of candor as to a realistic release date. Your response will be greatly appreciated by me, as well a many other ACI users

Dave,

Thanks for the note and the comments.

We are beginning to ship ACI 8.5. The distribution will be controlled and will continue to ramp up each week. In order to move your name to the top of the list, I would suggest that you call our sales team and reserve a spot in the initial distribution lot.

Thank you for your patience.

George,

Started running ACI 8.5 today. So far it seems to have been worth the wait. One question with respect to the change over from a 7.x version is how do you transfer or locate your comps data base? For some reason, we are unable to locate the old comps database files. How were they labled in the 7.x versions and how should they be linked to v8.5?
