For those of you that have ACI, are there any programs that you use for tracking and accounts receivable like "EXCEL". I am looking for something that will intigrate with ACI that does a better job of tracking.

CANNOT give any help on tracking.

However will pay $100 to first reply on how to get the ACI data base into EXCELL.

I like the regular FILE LISTER but it lacks features that even VISICAL had,

Hi Mac & Ed!

Seem we three are often on the same hunt!

Ted has been down sick but was moving towards messing around with this idea anyway, as soon as he is back on his feet is going to pursue this a bit more...

I would really really like ACI to pursue the following:

1. Additional top of the form identification slots (useing the capabilities found in track put to hardcopy.

2. Better 'safer' transfer for accounting purposes, as discussed here-in which would NOT mess up my accounting if ACI hiccups!

3. Abandoning the kludge handheld system as it currently exists for something more functional in the field.

Any other thoughts gentlemen?

Perhaps because I'm just a simple one man office, ACI's tracking system has been perfect. It lists all my assignments, can be tracked with many different scenarios, summarizes everything I need for the IRS. Why is everyone else trying to use 3rd party companies for the same result? :?: (Hey, that was supposed to be a smiley)

summarizes everything I need for the IRS.
Does it auto-enter the deposits in your checkbook :?:
Me, I'm LAZY and don't want to handle deposit entry twice! Certain sorting functions available on other programs (ability to watch trends develop, issuing user defined reports for internal use....) may not as you say apply to a one man shop, many of us have two or more bodies.

Try that little edit key on the upper right side of your last post!
You have several tries avaiable to retract rewrite, etc... the only thing it WON'T do is edit something where someone quoted you (as above) Your :?: is preserved forevermore in my quote of your words...

The preview pane is pretty helpful: I misspell frequently, never see them in my original comment box, catch a few in the preview and about three edits later get most of them  I really REALLY miss the spellchecker... First round spelling and grammar are not my strong points, and despite the furor over the correlation between intellect and the proper use of American english on one of the other threads I think I have fairly decent grey matter.
Regards!
