ACI Is Importing 2015 Taxes As 2016 Taxes Madison Skydata

Beware ACI Skydata for all areas of Madison WI is incorrect! It imports 2015 data and indicates that it is the current 2016 data, ACI knows that this is a problem and: "are working with their vendor to correct this issue." Access Dane data appears to be correct.

Some County's publically posted data is often months behind the actual availability of the current data. Always check, also in this area there may be ditch taxes or bridge taxes associated with a property and these are not always available at the same time as the RE taxes. In some Counties, it is hard to pull the non=RE taxes & penalties out of the publically posted amount. Ditch & bridge taxes are not constant or regular every year and can be substantial in some years.

The other question is, on what date do you switch years. This has more to do with estate and other retrospective appraisals.
