I just received my appraisers license in CA. and I am about to purchase software. I've narrowed it down to ACI or Toolbox. Has anyone used both? Or does anyone have any input, suggestions, warnings etc. As a trainee I used Appraise-it. As far as I'm concerned Appraise-it is the worst program I've surveyed. Any help would be appreciated.

The appraiser's that I know that are using Toolbox wish that they were using something else but have so much time and data invested that it's not worth the move. Of these appraiser's they seem to be split between Total and ACI. At one point in time using ACI would buy you some clients but with Lighthouse and PDF that's no longer the case. I think both of these companies will sell you thier software with a money back with 30 or so day offer.
