Thought readers would like to know that United Systems took me $75 for worthless tech support. Tech support knew I could not accomplish printing files to new Adobe Version 5.0, but said if I gave them $75, they could correct the problem. I thought about putting this in the deadbeat list. I would like to know what's the rock bottom cheapest software, no fringes that I can print to Adobe Acrobat 5.0.5. United systems just lost my business. Thanks.

Toolbox, works without a hitch, never a problem and windows based so it is very, very fast and manipulative!

I cannot imagine using anything else. I had the worst experience with HyperForm and cannot believe people actually use it! I quit a job over WinTotal, it is the most slow and time consuming software there is! ACI is primitive and very sensitive not to mention sh*t integration.

I have used all the software mentioned above, thank god for competition to keep Toolbox in line! Works perfect with Geo Locator, Apex, and Adobe 4.0, 5.0, and 5.5!

Trust my years of experience, I would not lead you wrong...........

We have thousands of appraisers that successfully create PDFs within ACI. Version 8 of the ACI Collection features exceptional integration with Adobe and is as simple as clicking on the Adobe speed button that is conveniently located on the toolbar. Furthermore, the integration allows the appraiser to select pre-defined print schemes (i.e. 1004 w/photo pages only) to speed the process.

Feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to show you how easy it is to generate PDFs with ACI.

Enjoy the holiday weekend.

Regards, George

Thanks Russ. I keep hearing good things about Toolbox. As matter of fact, Toolbox is the one who tipped me off as to how to get the d*** stuff to work. I'm pretty close to solving my problems. Just a page formatting problem, and what I was told wouldn't work-does. Neither Adobe or Hyperform fixed the problem really. Toolbox gave the information away free. Another good promo for Toolbox, I guess. In looking at Toolbox software, they say they are 16 bit. What about 16 bit? I thought everything needs to be 32 bit? How does that effect anything? Thanks.

Robert,

I also use Toolbox having switched over from WinTotal years ago. 16 bit is no problem. Runs fine.

A demo version is available on their website and is around 10 megs. As they say, try it, you'll like it.
