Adobe Page numbering?

I am trying to get Adobe Acrobat to print page numbers on my appraisal once it is finished. I have looked and looked and nothing yet. I find under tools the Number Pages option but they don't print out.

Anyone know how to do this??

Which appraisal software do you use? I tell Athena to number the pages, and it comes out on Adobe when I print.
