Having a problem with Adobe 4.05 I just installed on my computer at home. Seems no matter what, it just won't print the photos in color to a PDF file. They all come up in black and white on the monitor.

It's bugging me out big time because all of the settings are the same as my other computers and they print to PDF in color fine.

I have installed Adobe 5 several times with Windows 98, NT and Xp without problems. I have always used the default settings.

What I propose to do :

- Uninstall the actual Adobe Acrobat [ Start - Settings - Configuration - Software - uninstall ] on your PC.
- Remove the directory C:\Program Files\ Adobe\Acrobat (all the existing customised settings will be removed)
- Verify in the Printer Settings [Start - Settings - Printer ] that Acrobat Distiller is deleted (if not do it manually)
- Restart the computer
- Install Acrobat again with the default settings (just enter, enter, ...)

Good luck !

Hugo,

I appreciate the info but the wife and daughter while on a cleaning rampage in my home office, threw away my Adobe Acrobat program that I bought from A la Mode years ago. Seems they didn't bother to look inside the cardboard cover to see if there was a CD in there and out it went......So that option is out.

I think I'm just going to buy Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and see if that solves the problem.
