According to a recent pop-up in WinTotal, "AI Ready Plugin Conversion Details" a text file of our report is sent to our client. As a result, the data, images, sketch, maps, signature, etc., can be manipulated without our knowledge.

Is there a petition restricting changes to our appraisal reports?

If not, how do we develop a petition so we could send to each of our state appraisal boards, The Appraisal Foundation, and our representatives in Congress?

Sincerely,
Lore DeAstra

The pop-up advises you that your appraisal report is not what the client sees. Your electronic signiature is removed. Your data is more than likely being mined without your written permission. This activity allows for mischief such as value conclusions being changed, and or your electronic signiature may wind up on a different appraisal. Attachements that you may have added to your report may or may not be forwarded. The secure link does not exist under AI Ready. You can bet that all of your appraisal reports have been infringed. Furthermore, you may well be a potential target for mortgage fruad. Register your appraisal reports with the copyright office. That will serve as an independent third party source of the original work. This simple process could well save you many thousands of dollars in legal expenses, loss of business, unnecessary stress and loss of your reputation. For $45.00 you can register all of your appraisals that you prepared over the past five years as a compilation. Then once every 90 days register the work with the copyright office, again as a compilation. This is easy, it can be done electronically. Confidentiality is maintained. Spend some time on the US Copyright Office website, WWW. Copyright.gov. Educate yourself.
