Anyone having any issues with Total not connecting to the Internet when trying to download a map? Just yesterday we were downloading maps fine, last night had the most recent update, and today when we were trying to download a map it said the internet was not connected however the Internet is working fine on the rest of the computer! Any ideas anyone???????? PLEASE!

It is usually your firewall or virus detector.

That is what tech support said too, but, we have our firewall and antivirus off, but still not luck! We had another tech, not from alamode & they say that it is with in total! AAAGGGGGHHHHHHH

What firewall and/or antivirus are you using? I have had some similar problems...maybe I can shed some light on the subject.

I have a similar problem. When I go to download maps, I can only get the location map not the flood map. I talked to tech support and they also blamed it on my internet connection after I told them that I was on line at the time!! When I closed down WinTotal and started it back up I was now able to download the flood map. Go figure. Now when I am ready to download my maps I have to close down WinTotal and start it back up. I never use to have to do this. You would think that WinTotal could fix this issue and not blame it on something other than their software!! Tech support continue to be less than helpful!!

Just talked to tech support myself, I am also not getting maps. I have to call back on monday as all their "senior tech people who can fix the problem are not there on the weekend" I also told them it worked fine yesterday, installed new updates last night, not it does not work. Found out there is also no way to roll back to the previous, pre updated version.

I also am having problems with maps. Subject is not found or valid. The street is only 100 years old???

It seems everytime they have an update something else goes wrong with the software. Down loaded the latest version yesterday and now the sketch program will not integrate with WinTotal. I don't think they have a clue. Guess I will be calling tech support and be on hold for 3 hours.

Found my problem, the name of the city was where the zip code should be.

I have had sketching problems for ages (doesn't matter if you use Apex 4 or Apex Medina). I just make sure that after I complete the sketch, I export it to a file so that if I get the "not integrated" message, I can import the sketch instead of starting from scratch (this technique learned at the school of hard knocks).
