Alfred Pollard, OFHEO

"A lot of folks seem to feel it's over or it has already happened, and that simply is not the case," Mr. Pollard said. "The code of conduct remains very much a less-than-complete document. We recognize the potential of unintended consequences."

Regulate THIS!

Alfred Pollard, OFHEO
We all know that OFHEO, like the other federal regulators, would do just about anything to avoid and/or prevent any kind of enforcement.

Mr. Pollard couldn't regulate his way out of a paper bag.

Mr. Harriman,

Very well said. These people at OFHEO, OTS, FDIC should all be summarily fired for being asleep at the wheel. They must be held accountable for the complete absence of regulation.

But there may be more than incompetence on their part.

The worst part - if you missed it - is that Pollard's jawboning was done at a conference hosted by Veros Software Inc.
