Well, today is June 30, 2003. Two terms on the NCAB expire today which will mean that unless appointments (or reappointments) are made today, tomorrow we will have 3 members (on a 7 member board) who will continue to serve until who knows when.

We already had one gentleman who was reappointed last year and then had the reappointment vetoed by the Governor (along with other stuff in the bill) and now we can add 2 more to the list.

I have no earthly idea, but I would guess that less than 100 appraisers (out of 4,000+-) bothered to contact the governor to ask that the appointments be made on time and with appropriate thought and consideration.

"Ask and ye shall receive". Don't ask....and don't even think about complaining that you did not receive.
