The funny thing about GMAC and Res Cap, is that when I was in the mortgage fraud prevention business a few years ago, GMAC had the most sophisticated fraud prevention program.

Good Riddance. From personal experience during a period of 10 years declining solicitation to commit Collusion - May they rest in pieces.

I did a lot of appraisals for them back a few years and even taught them (Troy home office) how to download the Adobe PDF Reader so they could receive appraisals via email. They were wonderful to work for then! It was around 2002 (I think) that things changed and they liked skippies best - and AVMs - and LO pressures to get the deals closed no matter what.

Another once "really good client" down the drain.

When I was at First American, GMAC was their best customer, which included AVMs and LoanIQ, the product I developed.
