I got an email from ANOW - a united wholesale appraisal panel. I read the email where it stated you have to buy a subscription "anow essentials" from them? Did I read that correctly?

Only $49 per month, plus, I think, some per-report upload fees and maybe some fees to pay you. To be expected as they own ANOW and rely on it to increase their profits. But be sure to always hit the number in time, or you will simply have another expense.

They apparently switched to a new platform called dwelling blocks and reset their whole panel where everyone starts with a perfect score, whereas it was previously top to bottom assigning. With their new ingenious DB platform it appears they expect you to blind accept without viewing the sc prior to acceptance and also there is no way to conditionally accept orders anymore.

The dude lives like a few miles from me and is building a mega mansion. He wants to put a go kart track in his yard- the neighbors fought it and won. I guess he needs more money off the backs of the working man. I can't root harder against someone than this guy! Horrible basketball owner too!

We are to pay him to do work for him! WTF!

Another one of those, starts with a V, started doing that monthly subscription fees on top of tech fees. I decline all jobs through them now and state the reason for decline is that company's new monthly subscription fees.

Currently I am only working for lenders directly and get paid handsomely. I occasionally get an order form an AMC. My business is down 50%. If those in charge behind the curtain want appraisal industry to not to exist-they are doing a good job!

And you get to use stipe for direct deposit and a % fee for doing that. I quit that a while ago. Hopefully, with their new building blocks site, uwm will pay normal, they did with me, but maybe smaller charges now.

The fall will be spectacular, though! Too bad taxpayers will have to foot the bill.

Are you currently using ANOW for your non-UWM appraisal order and office management? Or just for orders coming from them? Mind sharing the screenshot from that email with sensitive info blurred?

To be expected as they own ANOW and rely on it to increase their profits.
I believe Voxtur owns Anow, not UWM. They bought them out a while back.

Tech fees won't offset the reduction in volumes.
