Anyone using Delorme Sat 10 Mapping software??

been using delorme street atlas for years and was thinking about their new satelite imagery software for land location purposes. anyone tryed it?

I've not tried that program; just bought the Street Atlas 2003 and not sure that I like it as well as the older versions.

DITTO!!! It not only stinks, it REALLY STINKS! :evil: :evil: I too went back to the old version. Folks, I waisted $45 to be able to tell you that. SAVE YOUR MONEY! :wink:

I use it not so much for real identification on the ground. rather for eye candy in the addendum purposes in farm/land appraisals. The satellite map is dated as fields cultivation may change from one year to the next and if the satellite data is taken in the growing season it has more problems as resolution is hidden by vegetation.

The resolution is not that good I would rather use aerials prepared by USDA on a yearly basis
don't use street atlas, use microsoft streets and trips. like it a lot better.

If you use ACI you might want to check with them before you install the new Delorme as there were "issues".
