I am technically challenged (understatement of the year).

I am doing a report in alamode and for the first time am using my new Apex software -- which I have never done before. So after an hour of getting the drawing done I can't get it to go into my wintotal form. I try export and it doesn't go...

I am sure it is easy....but I can't get it to work...oh, and kick off is in 23 minutes!

I am assuming that you did the sketch with APEX but outside of Wintotal. I use the Aurora version.

Open your report in Wintotal, click on sketch. Then select new sketch. This will load Apex. Then you need to IMPORT the file. (This works with Apex4 and Medina...I can't say anything about Apex3, though).

Finance1, call Alamode and ask them to help you with a version that would work for you.

Timothy,

Sorry to just now be seeing your post. For some reason, I can no longer access this site when I am away from my office... :-(

Give us a call at 800-858-9958 and we'll try to help you get things configured correctly. Tell whomever answers your call that I suggested that you call. Before you call, it would be good to get some basic info ready to give them. When in Apex, go to the Help menu and select "About." Write down the Apex version and date shown there. It would be good to know your OS version (Windows XP, Vista, etc.) as well.

Hope this helps!

RSW,

Ha ha. You are right. Actually, I asked my network admin to look at it because I feel like it is something I did myself. One minute I was on and the next minute I could no longer even reach the site. Sometimes I am such a goober, LOL. Maybe Wayne will see this and send me some hints so I won't have to embarrass my self (again.) Guess I really am the moron here... ;-)

I couldn't figure it out so I made a PDF of the sketch and then used Snag-it to put it in. Took the son to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the Chiefs lose....:(
