Kind of reminds me of the guy standing before the judge in south Chicago. "Honest, your honor, I was just standing on the corner cleaning my fingernails with this knife and the victim ran around the corner and backed into it, 13 times"

The article did not say if the appraiser received jacked up fees or a percentage of the profits. I would hate to think he was so stupid he did them for his normal fee.
