We are looking for an appraiser with experience in RV/Amusement Park, located in the St Louis area, Southern Ill, or Iowa. Park is in NE Missouri. We would lean toward the business valuation. Appreciate any help.

Check the Appraisal Institute in Chicago. They used to publish a book on appraising RV parks and the author might know who can do it. Also, I think http://www.coloradocampgrounds.com/are sellers and appraisers of campgrounds. They might know a more local reference in the industry. A specialist may be national in scope and may be more valuable than a local.

On the Appraisal Institute's web page there is a "search for appraiser" section where you can search by areas of specialty as well as location. If you want a lead on a sale, in Lancaster PA, Dutch Wonderland was recently purchased by Hershey (as in Hershey Foods and Entertainment). If you like, I can get you some basic info on the property.
