Its not exactly new but there is a supervisor/trainee class you need to complete before taking on any trainees. Its a one time requirement.

Although the AI offers this course I have not sen it scheduled locally in the near future. As I understand the online offering by AI has still not yet been released. However McKissock has an online version.

As noted, there is the new Supervisor class. AI does have an online version, but its not good for all states. Some states, such as TN need require additional information that the online class doesnt have.

The previously required sup/trainee courses as part of the manditory CE several years back is not the same as the course currently requied and my understanding is that the prior class does not count for the current requirement.

Howard -
Are you sure. McKissock's current Supervisor trainee course has an FREAB approval code of 9247. This is the same as the one I took in 2014. Wouldn't the approval code change if the course was changed?
