Is anyone else having the problem of a scanned addendum page being converted to a subject photo when you send in XML format through AP?

I add a jpeg or tiff image of market analysis charts and graphs to every report. I use 3 graphs on one page. It is shrinking the page down to a subject photo when it is converted to XML.

Of course it has not happened to anyone but me. FNC blames Alamode and Alamode never heard of the problem.

I need a geek. :flowers:

When one adds a "non-standard" addendum to a report and then converts it to AIReady, how well it converts depends on how the particular vendor has integrated the AIReady plug-in.

Have you tried inserting your graphics on another type of addendum page?

Rhonda,

Your not the only one, I have had similar problems. The last major problem was with a 40 some page complex residential assignment for Wachovia Bank.

They eventually told me to send it via appraisal port as a PDF which I did with no problems.

Many other people are having the same issue. there are literally tens of thousands like you.

DWiley, I've tried so many addendum pages I've lost count. :Eyecrazy: Scanned map pages, scanned addendum pages, etc. Every time it converts it to a subject photo page and the image is too small to see. It really ****es me off. It does it to the plat maps and everything. m2:

Alamode acted like they have never heard of the problem. FNC says it is an Alamode problem ... who knows. All I know is that I'm working my butt off making visual images of the market to support my opinion and they won't convert correctly. I make several references to the graphic analysis attached in the reports.

Thanks Carnivore - I did not know anyone else was having this problem too. I am going to continue to do what I've always done and make reference in the report that a graphic image is attached. I guess if these fools want something else - they can either accept a PDF or forget it.

I was going to the trouble to save every graph in a separate jpeg image and attach on a photo page .... I am tired of doing that since I include 3-6 graphs and it is taking too much time. So I guess I'm SOL.

Is it possible to insert a pdf into the appraisal?

As far as I know, Athena does not allow a pdf to be inserted. If anyone knows different - PLEASE let me know how. :)

I know I need to upgrade but I have not had time for the learning curve and I'm an old woman set in her ways.
